Mako Kiria, a participant of the peer educators’ training course, held informational meetings with the students of the public school in the village of October, Zugdidi. The meetings, attended by a total of 26 students, addressed issues such as peacebuilding, diversity, conflict, and stereotypes.
The meetings were held within the framework of the project “Protecting IDP Rights during the COVID-19 Crisis in Georgia” implemented by EDEC in partnership with UNDP.
The project aims to support IDPs and conflict-affected youth to get involved in solving the challenges and problems created in their communities as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
