An Information meeting with students

An information meeting was held on April 10, 2024, with the students of Akaki Tsereteli State University Vocational Center as part of the project “Introduction of Social Entrepreneurship as a Key to Competitive Youth and Strengthened Vocational Schools in Georgia”. The meeting aimed to familiarize the participants with the project goals and activities planned, as well as to provide information about social entrepreneurship. As part of the project, students interested in social entrepreneurship from the pilot vocational school will participate in a social entrepreneurship course. Upon successful completion of the course, they will participate in a student social enterprise grant competition.

The project, “Strengthening Social Entrepreneurship Skills in Vocational Schools,” is being implemented by the Center for Education Development and Employment Center, Childfund Deutschland E.V. (Germany), in partnership and with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The project’s activities will be carried out in four vocational schools in the Imereti and Shida Kartli regions, namely Iberia College, Construct2 Construction College, Akaki Tsereteli State University Vocational Center, and Gantiadi College.

A total of 10 social enterprises will be financed within the framework of the project, the project will support the development of the established enterprise with the involvement of mentors and experts.
