An open day of educational programs was organized by College Construct2 to promote their professional programs. Around 200 students from Zestafon and Kharagauly schools attended the event to learn about the programs and try them out for themselves. These programs included computer network and systems, labor safety and environmental technologies, performance of surveying and topographical works, and electricity.
During the event, successful Construct2 students hosted a panel discussion where they shared their experiences with their peers about career-related stereotypes and how to deal with them. The students also participated in specially arranged games and received various branded items as gifts.
The event was organized within the framework of the project “Strengthening Social Entrepreneurship Skills in Vocational Schools,” is being implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center, Childfund Deutschland E.V. (Germany), in partnership and with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The project’s activities will be carried out in four vocational schools in the Imereti and Shida Kartli regions, namely Iberia College, Construct2 Construction College, Akaki Tsereteli State University Vocational Center, and Gantiadi College.
