Within the cooperation between Education
Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the Continuing Education Center of
Akaki Tsereteli State University, the five internship participants at the Kutaisi
Daycare Center for Children with Disabilities “Magic World” underwent
a final assessment process.
The students, both, undergraduates and
postgraduates from the Faculties of Pedagogy and Philology took part in the internship
program to become internationally-competitive and highly-qualified special
education teachers for daycare centers.
Nato Kobuladze, Head of the Continuing
Education Center, Irma Tsulaia, a psychologist at Public School №32, and Sophio
Kupatadze, EDEC’s program coordinator for the Day Care Centers, participated in
the assessment process.
Afterward, the participants were awarded
certificates. The general internship program is going to continue.
