At the thematic meeting, sectors discussed ways to solve problems in the field of employment

On April 28, 2023, the Institute for Changes and Innovation, in partnership with the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), held a thematic meeting in Ozurgeti within the framework of the EU-supported “Learn for Employment” project, the aim of which was cooperation between sectors to overcome problems in the field of education and employment, to discuss current challenges and ways to improve the situation. Representatives of local self-government, non-governmental organizations, the State Employment Promotion Agency, media, and educational and business sectors attended the event.

Natia Namicheishvili, the non-executive director of the Education Development and Employment Center, and Maya Toidze, the deputy director of College Blacks, discussed the role and importance of career orientation and professional education services for employment, the international and Georgian practice of dual education. A discussion took place at the end of the event.

 

 

The EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and the Guria Youth Resource Center (GYRC).
