Civil activist Kristine Maghlakelidze spoke live on TimeRepublik
Georgia’s Facebook page about the importance of volunteering. She focused on
personal growth opportunities and noted that volunteering allows people to
create a better version of themselves.

The mobilization of participants took place on the volunteering
platform www.timerepublik.com, the respective
Facebook page and with help of the project’s regional hubs. Due to the matter’s
topicality, the session’s video recording enjoys a steadily increasing number
of viewers.

The online meeting was conducted in the frame of the project
„Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative.” It is implemented by the
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in cooperation with the Civil Society Institute
(CSI), the Consultation and Training Center (CTC), the Center for Strategic
Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), and the Education Development and
Employment Center (EDEC). The project is funded by the European Union (EU) and
co-funded by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS).
