The beneficiaries of the Kutaisi Day Care Center
for Children with Disabilities “Magic World” visited McDonald’s on International Children’s Day.

The children were involved in various
entertainment activities with the aim to encourage contact with other peers, and
thus promote integration as well as taking care of children. The visit was
implemented in cooperation with McDonald’s and the Kutaisi Youth Center.

The International Day for Protection of
Children are celebrated in many countries as Children’s Day on the 1st of June since
1950. It should help to promote welfare, health, education, and dignified living
conditions for children.

The event was organized within the framework of the Promoting Integration, Tolerance, and Awareness (PITA) The program, implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with financial
support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Education
Development and Employment Center (EDEC) is a partner of the program.
