In Kutaisi (Magic World) and Saguramo
(Ialoni), the beneficiaries of both daycare centers along with local peers commemorated
the Day of Protection of Persons with Disabilities. Jointly, the children presented
a mini-play to express and their support for this important day.

In the year 2000, the Parliament of Georgia
declared the 14th of June as the Day of Protection of Persons with Disabilities.

The Day Care Centers Program is implemented
by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) with support of the
Social Service Agency of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the
Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
