The Education Development and Employment Center offers free consultation to people interested in the establishment of small and medium sized enterprises. 

The EDEC-based Business Consultation Center aims to support the economic development of the Imereti region in collaboration with  the small and medium size business sector: 

Individuals interested in starting business activities are eligible to get free consultations, particularly: 

 • Youth

• Representatives of vulnerable groups

• Internally displaced persons (IDPs)

 Already active small and medium sized businesses are eligible in case they are:

 • Production and service oriented businesses

• Agro food processing plants

• Primary agricultural products producers, farmers

• Export-oriented enterprises

The Business Consultation Center offers the following services to the beneficiaries:

• Research of business related information

• Assistance in business planning

• Elaborating financial analysis and model

• Consulting for agro businesses and cooperatives

• Marketing consultation 

• Developing new products and elaborating growth-oriented strategies

• Assistance in fundraising for start-ups 

• Assistance in preparing an investment project and business plan

• Consulting on EU Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area Agreement (DCFTA) and export-related issues

• Consulting of Agro businesses and cooperatives on legal matters
