Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) held Professional Guidance and Career Planning CV Training for the IDPs and conflict-affected youth residing in Shida Kartli and Samegrelo regions.
The training aims to support the participants in finding their purpose and planning their careers.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the training was actively held online.
In total 323 people attended the CV Training. The participants learned CV and cover letter writing tools. In addition, they were informed about employer communication stages and effective job interview techniques. The gained knowledge will help them in better demonstration of their abilities, attracting the employers’ interest, and taking the first step towards creating a successful career.
The training is held within the framework of the project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine”.
The project aims to widen education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for internally displaced persons and conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant participation in the community.
