Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) organized a roundtable on the topic of support services for people with disabilities in Zestafoni. The speakers discussed the challenges and ways to solve issues.

Lika Kiladze, Chairperson of the Board of Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) presented the project and discussion topic to the participants. Giorgi Goglichidze, the Mayor of the Zestaponi Municipality welcomed the participants of the round table. Social Services of Zestafoni Municipality was presented by Marina Suknidze, the Head of Social Services of the Zestaponi Municipality.

Sopio Kupatadze, the Coordinator of the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities, presented services based on the rights of people with disabilities.

The roundtable was held within the framework of the European Union project Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disability. The project is implemented by Arbeiter Samariter Bund (ASB), in partnership with Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Movement Accessible Environment (AEE).
