Entrepreneurial School in Zugdidi organizes study trip to various local businesses

19 students from Zugdidi Entrepreneurial
School visited the food enterprise “Gurmani,” the shoe company “Levanto,”
the restaurant “Kvamli,” a cheese and dairy product producer, and the
strawberry nursery farm “Adina Ltd.”

The participants got familiar with the differing
production processes and used their chance to ask questions about their issues of
interest, in particular sales, export, and employment opportunities.

The Entrepreneurial School is part of the EU-funded
project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in
Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine.” The initiative aims to
widen education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for internally
displaced persons and conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant
participation in the community. In Georgia, it is implemented by the Danish
Refugee Council (DRC) and the Education Development and Employment Center
(EDEC).
