Hundreds of pupils participate in Career Orientation Day in Kutaisi

On the 29th of February 2020, the Education
Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Goethe-Institute, and the German
Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) organized a Career Orientation Day at Kutaisi’s
Akaki Tsereteli Public School #1.

The event was free of charge and open to school
students between 14 and 18 years to learn more about their opportunities after
graduation: higher or vocational education, working right away, volunteering or
gathering some nice experiences abroad.

International and local organizations
participated in the forum and gave interesting presentations about vocational
education, volunteering programs, self-employment, and professions in demand.

The event was organized by the Education
Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Goethe-Institute, and the German
Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with support from the Kutaisi Educational
Resource Center and Kutaisi’s Public School #1.
