Two members of the Youth Center, Guram Vashakmadze and Tamuna Kimadze, held an information meeting on “European Union and Georgia” for parents and teachers in the village of Maghlaki.
The meeting aimed to raise awareness among teachers and parents on European and Western Values, and on Georgia’s European Choice.
The participants received detailed information about the NATO, the EU and European and the Euro-Atlantic integration for Georgia. They were informed about the opportunities and benefits of a European Integration for the country.
The meeting was organized within the framework of Promoting Integration, Tolerance and Awareness (PITA) Program, implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The program partner is the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
