The representatives of the Education Development and Employment Center met with the residents of the resettlement facilities for IDPs from Abkhazia located in Kutaisi.

The chairmen of the homeowners’ associations were provided with the information about the project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“, implemented by EDEC.

The purpose of the meeting was to facilitate the dissemination of information to IDP families, which represent one of the target groups of the project.

Within the project, job seekers will undergo professional training and/or retraining; will be involved in a paid internship program; will receive free training on CV preparation and job search techniques; will be able to get a job with the help of a career planning consultant.

The persons invited to the meeting expressed great interest in the project and expressed readiness to use the services available and to provide information to other IDP families living in the settlement.

The EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ is implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and Guria Youth Resource Center (GYRC).
