Lika Bedinashvili won the Best Volunteer’s prize in the contest “The Volunteer of Georgia 2020”.
Lika is 17 years old, she is from Chiatura (a city in the Imereti region) and she has been actively participating in volunteering campaigns since 2018. Although she has taken part in various social campaigns directed at the protection of human rights, integration of persons with disability into society, and promotion of a healthy lifestyle, Lika is proud of participating in the environmental campaigns most of all.
Lika thinks that degraded landscape is the most significant environmental problem in Chiatura. In response, she has participated in the campaign planting the trees in 4 villages, also supporting other activities within the campaign.
