Mako Kasradze is a make-up artist from Gori. She completed the Dual Vocational Education Program for Makeup Artists. Mako loves her job very much. Earlier she used her make-up skills only among friends and relatives. After completing the short-term training program she got a job in this field at the beauty salon and highlighting women’s beauty has become her daily mission.
Mako thinks that she is lucky to be doing the job she enjoys and enables her to use her skills. She is grateful to her teacher who taught her professional makeup techniques and made her more confident.
“Modern women mostly like light make-up, so I tend to use plain and subtle colors mostly, but I also do evening make-up with great pleasure. It is important for a make-up artist to love beauty and colors.”
Mako recommends and wishes women to always look beautiful regardless of age and environment.
Dual Vocational Education Program for Make-up Artists is implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) within the EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine”.
