Mini-METS workshop hosted at Education Development and Employment Center

Initiated by local Peace Corps volunteers, the
Education Development and Employment Center invited students from Kutaisi’s
school to a Mini-METS workshop; participants could experience exciting
experiments, discussions, and hands-on activities related to METS (math,
engineering, technology, and science).

The goal of the Peace Corps’ mini-workshop series
is to increase knowledge of and enthusiasm for STEM (science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics) subjects among Georgian youth.
