This time, Ketevan Bantsadze volunteered to make the musical
therapy session special; she is the head of the Kutaisi M. Balanchivadze
Children’s Folklore Ensemble “Nai-Nai,” teacher of theoretical
subjects and the choirmaster of the Kutaisi State Song and Dance Ensemble.
Ketevan introduced characteristic folk songs and hymns from different
corners of Georgia. As a highlight at the end, she also sang various of those hymns.
Such activities do not only trigger the development of
cognitive skills but also help to stay positive during the challenging period
of self-isolation.
Thanks to Ketevan, who made this session so appealing and
unique for the children!
