Social Entrepreneurship Fair – 2016 was held in Tbilisi

On December 8th, the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) along with the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB Georgia), with financial assistance from the European Union and “Bread for the World” organised the 2016 Social Entrepreneurship Fair. The fair aimed to build a network and deepen ties between Georgian social entrepreneurs and stakeholders.

The winners for “The Best Social Enterprise of the Year” and ” The Best Start Up Social Enterprise of the Year” were announced. The best social enterprise was HERA and the best  Start Up Social Enterprise was Arab Art-house

Bank of Georgia awarded the winners worth 2000 gel. Poti Port also awarded a wheelchair social enterprise with 1000 gel from the port. The company “Askani Brothers” also awarded all the nominated enterprises with its own wine. 

The project “Social Entrepreneurship – An Innovative Approach to Social and Economic Change” is implemented by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) along with the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB Georgia) with financial assistance from the European Union.
