Success story – Teona Pavliashvili

Teona Pavliashvili is one of the successful graduates of the Dual Education Training Program for Hair Stylists. Today she is employed at the beauty salon “Beauty Art” in Gori.
“I heard about this program from a relative and immediately decided to join because I always liked this profession. I have been helping my family members – my mom and sisters at styling their hair as I am good at it. I am happy to be hired here as a result of the program. The staff is very friendly and the environment – exceptionally warm.”
Teona’s studies turned her hobby into a profession in which the theoretical and practical modules of the program and especially the internship, were very helpful. Today she gives us professional advice and explains how important styled hair is in a woman’s appearance.
Dual Vocational Education Programs were implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) within the EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine”.
