Tamar Doijashvili – the Participant of Dual Vocational Education Program

We would like to introduce you to Tamar Doijashvili, 35 years old make-up artist from Gori. She has successfully completed the Dual Vocational Education Program for Make-up Artists and at present, she is a qualified make-up artist.

The mother of three children is a historian by profession. The new profession has completely changed her life, enabling the active housewife to use her artistic talent in an interesting way.

“I was always interested in this sphere and when I heard about this program, I did not miss this chance. Talking about my new profession, the most important tool in make-up is the brush. With the brushes, I can make people more beautiful and the result is equally pleasant to me.”

Tamar has finished the internship module within the program and today she is employed at the beauty salon in Gori. Doing her favorite job, her talents are now realized.

Dual Vocational Education Program for Make-up Artists is implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) within the EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine”.
