On April 3, the Ambassador of the European Union, Pawel Herczynski, visited the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and got the information about the ongoing projects (Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!) and ESCape – Employment, Support, Counselling to Meet Labour Market Needs) achieved results and implemented activities within the EU-funded program Skills4Jobs. The ambassador also spoke to the beneficiaries and employers involved in the projects and heard successful employment stories.
Natia Namicheishvili, the executive director of the Education Development and Employment Center, introduced the history and general activities of the organization to the ambassador. At the meeting, they also discussed the importance of employment in the country, especially the employment of vulnerable groups, the role of the country’s cooperation with the European Union, and the European perspective of our country.
