The fifth UN Global Road Safety Week started in Kutaisi

The fifth UN Global Road Safety Week started
in Kutaisi.

The Education Development and Employment
Center (EDEC) joins the fifth UN Global Road Safety Week celebrations in
Georgia. Supported by police officers, young leaders trained in road safety
issues will hold informational meetings in kindergartens in Kutaisi this week. The
first event was already today, on May 6th, in Kindergarten №13.

The fifth UN Global Road Safety Week will
beheld the entire week from 6th to12th of May 2019 and launches permanent
actions through the Save Lives campaign. This years’ celebrations in Kutaisi will
be concluded with a conference under the headline “Road Safety;” it
will be held on May 10th in the City Hall of Kutaisi Municipality.

The Education Development and Employment
Center (EDEC) celebrates the Road Safety Week in partnership with the
organization “Georgia Alliance for Safe Roads” and the City Hall of
Kutaisi Municipality. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia supports the initiative within the campaign #ForMoreLife.
