On July 10, 2024, the General Assembly of a Settlement was held in Tsutskhvati, to resolve important issues for the settlement with the involvement of citizens of the community of Tsutskhvati.
20% of registered voters of the Tsutskhvati community participated in the event. Citizens had the opportunity to discuss important infrastructural problems for the settlement and reveal the 3 most priority problems by voting.
The problems prioritized by the population will be submitted to the municipal bodies (council/city hall) in the near future, to be considered in the 2025 budget. Residents of the Tsutskhvati community, civil society organizations, representatives of local self-government, and other interested persons attended the general meeting of the settlement.
The general assembly of the settlement was organized by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) in partnership with the Abkhazintercont (AIC), within the framework of the project “Citizens for Local Development”.
The project “Citizens for Local Development” is implemented with the support of the USAID Local Government Program, which is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center with the partnership NGO “Abkhazintercont”.
