On June 1, the Day Care Centers for Children with Disabilities administered by the Educational Development and Employment Center (EDEC) celebrated the International Child Protection Day with friends. Accompanied by sweets and colorful balloons, the children were engaged in a variety of fun activities.

The representatives of Kutaisi Independent Living Center visited, treated the children with sweets, and made their day. They also created a thematic poster together with the children. The poster will make the center’s workspace more beautiful.

Child Protection is one of the core directions of EDEC. The goal of the organization is to pursue a policy based on the protection of the rights and interests of the child.

On Children’s Day, we would like to emphasize once again that all children deserve to have a happy childhood and we, the adults, make a great contribution to creating an appropriate environment for them.
