Within the Dual Vocational Education Programme, the short-term vocational training courses in Vet Technicians are underway for the internally displaced people and the conflict-affected youth residing in the Shida Kartli region. The courses have 13 participants.
Within the program Education, Development and Employment Center (EDEC) is partnering with the Public College “Amagi”, where the participants gain theoretical and practical knowledge.
After successful completion of this module, the youth will be engaged in a 3-month paid internship at the local veterinary pharmacies and a Vet clinic.
The program is implemented within the framework of the project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine”.
The project aims to widen education, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities for internally displaced persons and conflict-affected youth and encourages their significant participation in the community.
