Pikria Berishvili, the teacher of Geography and Civic Education at Uravi Public School discussed interesting topics about “the stories of the world” with the beneficiaries of the Daycare Center for Children and People with Disabilities established at the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC). The topics of discussion related to the Sun and the planets moving around it.

Global warming and the problems caused by solar overheating were highlighted.

Global warming is real and it is the fact. It harms the people who pollute and those who do not pollute in the same way, therefore, it is vital to realize the ways we can contribute to avoiding expected disasters and to preserving our world as long as possible. All of us have the power to slow down the frequency of harming solar radiation and to prevent damaging the ozone layer.

“The stories of the world” is becoming a tradition; this is the second time that Pikria Berishvili has volunteered to participate in educational activities for the beneficiaries of Daycare Centers.

Day Care Centers Program is implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) with the support of the LEPL Agency For State Care And Assistance For the (Statutory) Victims of Human trafficking, of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia.
