Our project aims to foster a culture of volunteering among young people by making them realize the importance of volunteerism for their future.  – Mary Chelidze, co-founder, and head of Tsalki Youth Center, teacher

Volunteering is very important to me as a youth worker. I started volunteering when I was a child, and I fully understood its importance when I was a volunteer in a refugee aid camp in Ukraine. The mentioned fact highlighted in me the necessity and necessity of volunteer activities. Therefore, taking part in the competition and implementing the initiative is a kind of mission to introduce volunteer activities to young people.

The idea of our initiative serves to implement volunteer activities in Tsalka. We want to gather young people who will get information about the importance of volunteering, volunteer projects, and opportunities, and listen to various successful examples, which will motivate them to develop volunteering activities.

Our victory in this project and the implementation of the volunteer initiative is another significant and forward step of our center in the way of introducing a volunteer culture. This project will be a motivation for our youth to get involved in volunteer projects and become volunteers. The project will contribute to increasing awareness of our center among young people and the region.
