The winning project from Imereti

Being involved in the project allowed me to show students the importance of volunteering culture with practical examples. – Ia Kashia, teacher of civil education at public school N36 of Kutaisi

I aspire to raise responsible, empathetic, and goal-oriented citizens who understand the importance of fulfilling their mission as individuals, contributing to their community and country, bringing joy to the people around them through their attention and support, caring for the environment, and embodying the best values as role models for others. Through my participation in a project, I demonstrated to students the significance of creating a culture of volunteering through practical examples. The desire to do good is contagious, and volunteering can add color and interest to one’s life, developing new skills, and competencies and raising self-esteem. To foster students’ engagement with volunteer activities, we established volunteer clubs in the school to continue volunteer work in various directions. These clubs will undoubtedly be crucial in increasing students’ interest in volunteering.
