Within the cooperation between the
Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and the Continuing Education
Center of Akaki Tsereteli State University, the third cohort of participants
has started the internship program for special education teachers.
The aim is to train internationally-competitive
and highly-qualified special education teachers for daycare centers. Students
of both, undergraduates and postgraduates from the Faculties of Pedagogy and Philology,
can participate in the internship and have a chance to deepen the theoretical
knowledge while developing practical skills in parallel.
Nato Kobuladze, Head of the Continuing
Education Center and Administrator of the Day Care Service Center has already
conducted the first introduction meeting with the interns.
After successful completion, students will
be awarded certificates as a reference for later applications.
