On 30th of January 2020, Experts of the
bilateral volunteering platform “Time Bank” held a training at the vocational college
“Construct 2.”
The main question was, how to manage your own time
best for public benefit; as part of the event, participants also learned about Time
Bank’s history and working principles, the importance of volunteering and its popularization,
as well as the platform’s usage.
Afterward, “Construct 2” students
discussed the issue of public benefit and its core role in the formation of
civil society.
The training was organized as part of the “Georgian
Civil Society Sustainability Initiative.” The project was developed and is
implemented by a consortium led by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in cooperation
with four Georgian Civil Society Organizations: the Civil Society Institute
(CSI), the Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), the Center for Strategic
Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) and the Education Development and
Employment Center (EDEC).
