On September 21-22, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) organized a training for employers, the aim of which was to promote modern approaches to human capital management regarding the employment of persons with special needs. The training was led by HR professional and trainer Anna Gabeskiria and was attended by 40 employers. Similar training sessions will be held in October.

The training was organized within the EU-funded project ESCape- Employment, Support, Counselling to Meet Labour Market Needs. The aim of the project is to foster employability and employment in Tbilisi and the six selected regions of Adjara, Imereti, Kakheti, Kvemo-Kartli, Samegrelo, and Shida-Kartli.

The project is implemented by the consortium: the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), the State Employment Support Agency (SESA), the Democracy Development Agency (DDA), and the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).
