Vocational education program for cooks – interim evaluation for participants in Gori

On the 4th of February, all 13 beneficiaries of
the short-term training course for cooks in Gori participated in an interim the evaluation process to assess their progress.

The aim of this vocational education program is
to develop students’ skills and knowledge as cooks. After graduation, the
participants will be employed in different local food facilities.

The training for cooks is implemented as part
of the EU-funded project “EU4Youth – Enhancing Youth Education, Employment and
Participation in Conflict-affected Areas in Georgia and Ukraine.” The
initiative aims to widen education, employment, and entrepreneurial
opportunities for internally displaced persons and conflict-affected youth and
encourages their significant participation in the community. In Georgia, it is
implemented by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the Education Development
and Employment Center (EDEC).
