Within the framework of the volunteering week, the initiative of the Education Development and Employment Center – to carry out symbolic activities caring for the environment throughout the week,  were joined the Day Care Center beneficiaries and planted trees in the square on Rustaveli Street. With this activity, the beneficiaries of the Day Care Center encouraged the youth to take concrete actions in favor of preserving the environment and natural resources.

EDEC would like to express special thanks to the representative of the Nursery  Mrs. Nana Vashakidze, who shared the pathos of volunteerism and gave the seedlings to the organization for free for this event.

We remind you that on December 5, the world celebrates the International Day of Volunteers, which was established by the UN General Assembly in 1985. Millions of volunteers in different countries participate in events related to this day. They are involved in international initiatives, conferences, exhibitions, etc.
