General goal of the two-day training was to
encourage women to initiate services related to people with disabilities.
On the second day, expert Kristine Kandelaki
talked about the modern models of resource mobilization. Afterwards, participants
were awarded certificates.
Women participating in the training were
selected based on interviews in the different regions of Georgia.
The
training was organized within the framework of the EU-funded project “Equal
Opportunities for People with Disabilities.” It is implemented by
Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Georgia (ASB Georgia) in cooperation with its partner
organizations, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Accessible
Environment for Everyone.
