Job Fair was held in Guria

On June 8, Job Fair was held at the Ozurgeti Folklore Center in Guria..

The Job Fair aimed to promote employment opportunities for youth, IDPs, inexperienced, longterm

unemployed, and other vulnerable groups. Furthermore, the objective was to comprehend the significance of improving cross-sectoral cooperation for employment opportunities in the regions of Georgia.

At the Job Fair, 24 small, medium and large companies submitted 78 vacancies and 190 jobs. 187 Job seekers had the opportunity to meet a potential employer and demonstrate skills through direct communication.

Panel discussions were held at the employment forum and discussed the challenges in the labor market, the role of cooperation between sectors and ways to improve employment opportunities; The focus was on important issues such as experience-based learning and successful practices to date.

The event was attended by representatives of the State Employment Support Agency, vocational schools, public organizations, local governments, employers and job seekers, local businesses, business consulting companies and other stakeholders.
