Success Story from Adjara

“Cooking is an art, and the cook is an artist who creates unforgettable flavors”.

I had a special interest in cooking since childhood. My father was a cook by profession, and from the beginning, I followed his work with great enthusiasm. I was spending hours in the kitchen. I loved experiments – combining different flavors while cooking. That’s how cooking became my childhood passion and defined my future profession forever. I heard about the employment program through social media and decided to take a chance. The next day, I went to the Employment Center, where I had an intense consultation process with the Employment Consultants. During the interview, I realized that was the right decision to apply for them. I only had the experience of working as a cook in the family so I figured that was not enough entirely discover my culinary abilities. I needed practice and a workplace where I could fully master the profession and develop my skills. Luckily, thanks to the employment program, I completed a theoretical and practical course. Also, to develop work experience and practical skills, I went through a production practice in the restaurant “Tavaduri” where, as a successful graduate, they gave me the working tools. During the practice, highly qualified instructors were helping and taught me culinary tricks. That’s how I became a cook and turned my dream into reality. Today, I work as a cook in the “Tavaduri” restaurant. I have the perfect work environment and a job that I love. I strongly believe that a profession has neither age nor gender. The motivator for success is to follow your desire persistently and enjoy the results.
