On May 30, within the framework of the EU-funded project “Learn for Employment” a Job Fair will be held in Ambrolauri. The event was attended by representatives of the European Union, the State Employment Support Agency, vocational schools, public organizations, local governments, employers and job seekers, local businesses, and other stakeholders.
The purpose of the Job Fair was to promote the employment of young people, internally displaced persons, people without work experience, long-term unemployed, and vulnerable groups.
20 small, medium, and large companies presented up to 50 vacancies for employment and internship. More than 150 job seekers had the opportunity to meet a potential employer, discuss the desired vacancy and demonstrate their skills through direct communication.
The Job Fair is organized by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) and Abkhazintercont (AIC) with the partnership of the State Employment Support Agency (SESA) within the framework of the EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment!
