On November 10, with the support of the European Union, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), in partnership with the State Employment Support Agency (SESA) held a Job Fair in Kutaisi.
The event was attended by representatives of the European Union, the State Employment Support Agency, vocational schools, public organizations, local governments, employers and job seekers, local businesses, and other stakeholders.
The goal of the Job Fair is to promote the employment of young people, IDPs, those with no work experience, the long-term unemployed, and vulnerable groups of society.
At the Job Fair, more than 40 small, medium and large companies presented up to 160 vacancies for employment and internships in the fields of construction, banking, services, restaurants, industry, healthcare, and education. More than 300 job seekers had the opportunity to meet a potential employer, interview about the desired vacancy, and demonstrate their skills through direct communication.

The Job Fair was organized within the framework of the EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ is implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and the Guria Youth Resource Center (GYRC).
