“Look at life as an adventure full of challenges, where we all have the right to work hard and enjoy our achievements.”
Salome Khakhviashvili currently works as a cashier in the market “First Georgian House.”
I graduated from college with a degree in computer accounting. I worked as a cash register operator for several years, but soon I got married and became a mother. Therefore, I focused entirely on my family. After a while, I felt I needed to interact with people, get out of the house, and get paid. I started looking for work in different ways, including through social networks. That’s how I heard about the employment center and decided to go there. Since I had young children at home, part-time work was a priority. I felt great attention and a friendly environment in the center which inspired me to open and communicate directly with employment consultants. So I told them about my experience, skills, and interests, and they defined career orientation training, and I was happy to join. Also, I participated in the Job Fair but could not find a suitable job. Soon after the Fair, the Employment Consultants called me and offered me as a cashier in the “First Shopping House” market. I went to the interview with pleasure. I got a job after one month of a successful internship. I am glad that I actively communicate with people, take care of myself on my daily basis and meet the days happily.
I would like to say to the job seekers: don’t be afraid of hard work and low-level employment. Work is not easy, but trust me unemployment is much harder. Hold on to your dreams and work hard for them, trust me one sunny day they will come true.
