Nino Megrelishvili and Tamuna Biganishvili, Career Consultants of the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), met Zviad Kurdadze, the Acting Mayor of Khashuri Municipality and the representatives of the administrative body of health, social security, education, culture, and sports, within the framework of the EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“.

The project’s goals and future cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

36-month project implemented in six regions of Georgia: Imereti, Guria, Racha-Lechkhumi, Adjara, Shida Kartli, and Kakheti has two specific objectives:

to contribute to continuous/life-long career guidance and to the development of employment services;

to contribute to increased PPP through labor market needs assessments, demand-driven education, WBL, and apprenticeships in the maritime and tourism sectors.

The EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ is implemented by Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and Guria Youth Resource Center (GYRC).
