On September 28, 2023, at the hotel “Holiday Inn” hotel, the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC) organized the Summery Event within the EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment (LEARN for Employment!)”.  The event aimed to present to the audience the achieved results in the field of education and employment during the implementation of the project and discuss the existing challenges. 

Representatives of the EU Delegation to Georgia, the State Employment Support Agency, vocational schools, public organizations, employers, business entities, and other interested persons participated in the event. 

The event included three-panel discussions. Participants discussed the sustainability and development prospects of employment promotion services at the regional level, the importance of professional education and new professions relevant to the labor market, and successful employment cases within the project. 

The EU-funded project “Learn, Exercise, Achieve, Receive, Network for Employment! (LEARN for Employment!)“ was implemented by the Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC), the Telavi Education Development and Employment Center (TEDEC), the Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara (EAARA), Abkhazintercont (AIC) and the Institute for Change and Innovation (ICI).
